Cultural Festival

It is that time of the year where we choose a cultural group
to represent at the Cultural Festival.

In week 4 we chose our cultural group that we would enjoyed
doing and would be proud to show our parents.

Then in week 5 we all gathered up in our cultural groups because
we wanted to chose our songs and make our enthusiastic dance.

Later, at week 6 all the cultural groups had finalized their songs
and their awesome dances.

After finalizing our songs and dances, in week 9 we practised our dance every day from 12-12:40 to get our dance to be perfect.

Now it was week 10 and it was Tuesday the 8th! We had to bring our yummy cultural foods and our costumes for our dress rehearsal. We had our dress rehearsal and all the acts and costumes were amazing.

Finally it was the big day because it was the day to perform; everywhere you could see people being nervous and scared. While people were getting ready all the parents sat down and chatted among themselves. A short while later Mrs Karaua said the introduction and the show began.

All the kids performed so well that some parents started shouting and screaming. At the end everyone had so much fun and went back to their homes feeling proud.
